    The start of a collection of pictures which migh interest someone at least.
    No longer completely unknown, thanks to Hermann (Berman). Late 60's/ early 70's German made Hoyer single coil pickup. Unknown2 Unknown Pickup 1 - Exploded View Unknown Pickup 2 - The lower two magnets around the blade are 7mm thick and the north poles of all magnets are on the blade. Top magnet in the photo is one piece. I could measure the wire gauge but it's far too much trouble. Unknown Pickup 3 - You can see the elastic band that was around the magnets here. It no longer believes in Young's modulus.
