January 2010: This is a mid ‘60s Hohner Electronium amp with a falsely fitted “ORGAPHON 60 MH" badge on the front.
It has no controls, no ON/OFF switch, not even a fuse, just an EZ81 and one EF86 into two paralleled EL84s. The Hohner Electronium was a valve driven accordion and this box is just the power supply and amp part.
The amp was fairly clean except for cat hairs in most of the solder joints and the wire connections were getting loose. A three core cable has been added, but the connection to ground was loose. When you take the back panel off all the connections to those transformers are all un-insulated.
To get to know the circuit I have drawn up a schematic and two areas are still confusing me. This is my first schematic so it will not be perfect.
