    They can keep it!!! I have a 75 Les Paul from my playing days and I have two America Standard strat. But I was surprised that a Squire with D Allen pup sounded so good.......better than mine!!!! I don't care about the looks, I only care about the sound. If I were to play, I don't even mind the Gibson Faded series. They should sound the same!!! And I am quite impressed with the MIM strat sound too. I used to think the MIA always sounded better, I was wrong.

      I got no dog in this hunt, but I've been following it for educational purposes. Anything with Steve and R.G. will make me smarter.

      No brag, just fact, I have a 1960 strat I'm told is worth 8k$-10k$.
