Hi Bruce,
The reason for only the 4 9-pin holes is that these chassis are generic and my thoughts were that most builds would need 3 or 4 noval sockets but the outputs might vary, 2 octals, 4 octals, 2 novals, 4 novals and I leave it up to the builder to drill his own holes for same.

How do you cut the holes or do you have someone cut them for you (the octals not the novals)?

Well thanks for clearing up the numbering thingy. It proves one thing to me. My chemistry 143 professor didn't know what he was talking about when he said the numbering system we were going to learn and use was Latin. For example, in Latin 6 is "sex" not "hex". Now, I need to figure out where that number system came from since it clearly isn't Latin.

A step bit works fine for making the right-sized holes. If someone wants a chassis with holes, I will drill them.
