    Sound Clips:
Here are two short clips of my buddy playing a MIA strat playing through 2 amps simultaneously; the 6G15 Reverb Unit into the 5E3 Deluxe for the "wet" signal and a Dave Hunter 2-Stroke amp for the "clean" tone.

Still need to add the reverb. A Champ with BF treble and bass controls but switches to Tweed with volume and tone controls, treble turns into the tone control.

Here's a couple. The first is a Hammond AO-35 conversion. The speaker is a P12N with a Jay Mitchell donut in front of it.

The next is a preamp based on an Alembic F2B. I wanted to play with PCB/turret construction. I was still adding some things at this point. Never did get a final gut shot.

Heres a fun combo amp and extn cab I built last summer. Its based loosely on the t-bolt but with a few refinements. Switchable single/parallel V1 (wired on the input jack tip switches) for normal/boost, James TB stack, paraphase inverter (from the t-bolt) and 220R cathode resistor biasing 2 x 6P3Se with a Sovtek 5U4G. The OT is one of Webers. Goes into blues/rock mode real easily. The amps been gigged a few times and the cabs are starting to get a few dings but they are oil stained so the maintenance is easy.

some bytes of the above amp. Not up to my usual excellent standards, but it gives some idea of the raw sound

Here's my Trainwreck build. I had some help from the guys on here with the MOV output transformer secondary protection idea to replace the diode string. I did a Star Grounding layout, and fused the power transformer.

Still no photo of the underside of the power-supply board, but here is a photo of the completed amp. At present, the amp has a variable boost (called 'Attitude') and a pair of master volumes (that I call a dual-stage master volume setup).

2xEL84, fixed bias, 2204 preamp. Waiting on a couple more output jacks (L11)

Looks really pretty! The 2204 preamp is going to just kick the snot out of those EL84s.. you may need to tweak the voltage swing of the PI, or build in some extra attenuation after the phase inverter / use smaller than normal grid leaks on the power tubes (or some other standard trick) to keep the bee-in-coke can tendency of the EL84s under control.. Looking forward to some clips.

Stormbringer, Just Curious how you get a 2204 preamp with only 2 ECC83s?
                              I only count 4 tubes, and 2 are EL84s?

** I think I see another preamp tube hid near the input Jack?

Yes, I'll implement standard tricks. I've installed a 250k dual-pot MV in place of the PI grid leaks; I might try 500k instead (but this works nicely). There is also some signal attenuation at the end of the preamp; and 820R and 45k for Rb and Rk, respectively. Currently, the tail voltage is at ~69V; I might increase Rk to drop more voltage across Rk...

The NFB and Presence have me a bit irked. I have a separate thread in the 'debuggin your build' sub-forum.

Other than the Presence control, I have been impressed with the sound so far.

Yes, there is a 12AX7 right next to the input.
