Hello John. Since I am facing the exact same problem with my build, I was wondering if you found any solution to the problem... I have tried multiple things (including the suggestions in this post) and nothing seems to help...

If your troubles weren't answered by anything in the thread then I would suggest you PM John and start a new thread. Starting a new thread always inspires more participation that piggybacking an old thread. There use to be a restriction time for private messaging applied to new members and I don't know if that's still true. But do start your own thread on the matter for best results. Please include a schematic for your specific amp. It's not a deal breaker but verbal descriptions of your circuit don't get very far usually. So if it's not represented exactly in any actual schematic you should find the schematic that's closest to your amp and mark it with change notes for posting."Take two placebos, works twice as well." Enzo
"Now get off my lawn with your silicooties and boom-chucka speakers and computers masquerading as amplifiers" Justin Thomas
"If you're not interested in opinions and the experience of others, why even start a thread?
You can't just expect consent." Helmholtz
