if that video is the tone you want, then definitely change the caps. Mine sounds similar to that video. I don't have a tele though.
I'd hate to steer you wrong and make you have to make more tweaks, but I'd recommend against changing all the caps to .02. I can get a bright tone like that with a 335, which is a pretty dark guitar. I changed the last two caps to .047 instead of .02. You'd be wise to make incremental changes rather than going extreme.In the future I invented time travel.
