This is a stupid question but I'd rather be sure.
I have a VT22 that I picked up on the cheap. I just ordered some filter caps for it and I'm not used to working with mult-caps. The few that I have worked with were drop in replacements so not much thought process was necessary.
I ordered a 100x100@500V and a 50x50@500V as the Fliptops kit recommends. So what's the problem? These things have a common/single negative. How do I hook 'em up in series?
There's a schematic of the reworked caps here:
http://www.geocities.com/flintstudio...Ampeg_Amp.html
So I need to get the 100x100 in series and the 50x50 in series.
Again, sorry for the stupid question but these things are tanks... and I don't wanna blow up my basement.
