Hi Folks,
I have inherited a late 50's Harmony H303, from my Wife's father. It was still in the original shipping box with shipping label dated 1958. I don't know much of anything about amps as I just started playing the guit last year.
I would like to give the old girl a "tune-up" or at least a multi point inspection, and that is the purpose of this post.
It sounds nice enough at mid level but does have a little more hum than I like. When I crank it up to 3/4 it gets pretty muddy/blended.
What can I check to see if it is as good as it can be? I have attached some pictures that I hope come through. And lastly is this a safe amp?
