Ok Enzo she is up and running thx to your suggestion. I think I will have to diagnose another slight problem. The tubes seem to get very hot and the sound starts to break up. also when i look in the tubes during opperation I can see the red glowing filament and blue and glowing filiamentin one but in the other I only see the red glowing filament.

Then you need to check the voltages at the power tube socket pins. Are BOTH pin 5 at the same negative voltage? Are BOTH pin 4 at about the same as both pin 3?

If one tube looks different, swap places. Now does the same tube look funny in the other socket? Or does the same socket make any tube look funny?

Tested voltages and they are as follows pin 5- (-55) on both pin 4- (491-492) pin 3- (503-491)

And swapping them around in the sockets resulted in...?
