Need repair help please!

I have a line 6 spider valve 112.

The Master Volume knob wiggles just a tiny bit and whenever
i try to turn it, it makes a crackling noise. Also when not touching it at all,
the volume wavers up and down by itself. Any help on what could be wrong
and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Sounds like you need a new master volume pot.

I'd clean it first by spraying some electronic contact cleaner into the opening and turning it end-to-end several times. That may likely take care of it.
