  • Peavey valveking 112 lead channel doesn't work

    I've got a valveking 112 and a lead channel stopped working.(clean channel is working fine on 100%). I've replaced all the tubes but the problem still persist.I've searched for cold joint, got the suspicious ones resoldered but it didn't helped . Can anybody help me out with this, please?

    MY goodness, how many places did you post this?

    V2 is your dirt channel. Check tube plate and cathode voltages around that tube. Then if those are OK, apply a signal to the amp and trace it stage by stage through V2.

        Have you found what was wrong with the amp? I have the same amp with the same problem. I too have replaced every tube to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

          I entrusted him into the hands of servicemen. He exchanged a broken electronic components (resistors, just some), repair cost 17 ​​euros, without warranty (with warranty 34). lead channel is working properly again.
