Reading this forum in linear mode:

Browsing this site I see a number of posts that refer to information already covered in the thread, or that suggest there are posts missing when there arent. Here's a hint I figured out a few years ago. See the drop down menu on the light blue bar above that says "display"? Switch from "threaded" (default, unfortunately) to "linear" or "hybrid" view, and you wont miss anymore posts or feel like half the thread is missing.

yeah, linear mode is like most forums. threaded is just plain silly.

Yeah I think I remember when joining the forum it put me in the hybrid mode. I was all over the place trying to figure out what the next thing was that posted in a thread. So, this is good to know when first joining the site or searching. Linear mode is much more readable in this or almost any forum.

Yes it is hard to get through a big thread in Hybrid mode.
