Does anyone have a good contact number for Bugera. I bought a new (old) 6262-212. It is new out of the box, but I don't know how long ago it was made. It worked the initial time I tried it. The next time, I applied power, waited a minute, switched standby to play, then in about 10 seconds a volume swell of noise and both power and standby indicators extinguished. Check fuse at back of amp and it was blown, put in a new one, and the problem repeated. There is always more to a story, right? I am on facebook, and musicians friend ads the amp at 89.99. So I bought two! The same thing happened with the other one. Please hold your laughter. Only there was no sound swell before 'popping' the fuse. So... I am still under warranty, but I am itching to know if someone has gone over one of these and got it to a reliable, onstage amp. Any technical thought would be helpful. I did find a rev F schematic. After looking at for a half an hour, I can't find anything resembling a power switch.
Ok so a Bugera rep has gotten back to me via email. Their email care@music-group.com.
It has been 37yrs since I was in tech school, but tubes are tubes.
