I have this amp that was dropped off and it is extremely low and very distorted....When scoping the reverb send RCA jack the signal is nice and clean with lots of amplitude......Checked the line out, send and return jacks and the signal is very low and distorted....I had these jacks hooked up to an external amp....I measured some voltages and the power amp voltages are plus and minus 40 volts and the low voltage is plus and minus 15 volts...so that appears to be ok....I did notice that when checking the op amps for individual voltages, IC6 has the following voltages...
(PIN 1 -14.82V) (PIN 2 0V) (PIN 3 0V) (PIN 4 -15.04V) (PIN 5 -14.87V) (PIN 6 0V) (PIN 7 +15.15V) (PIN 8 0V) The schematic copy that I have is not clear and when you try to enlarge it, it becomes very badly distorted...any chance somebody here has a clearer copy?? As for these voltages, they don't seem right to me....I also noticed that when turning the amp on and off you get a loud thump in the speaker so the mute ckt isn't working.....but that I can tend to later...first I want to get the distorted sound straightened away.....
Cheers
