Again I ask, what Mains Voltage are you trying to use?
As a safety precaution, I suggest you use a "light bulb limiter" (Google it if you don't know what that is) and remove all the tubes until you can power up the amp and measure something close to 6.3VAC on the pilot lamp. A wrong connection on the primary could blow the transformer or a Mains fuse if connections are not right.

ok, blk/yel and blk/grn are connected now and it's working and voltages are where they need to be, thanks! I was really missing that split winding.
I am still dealing with a weird hum problem. I get a pretty loud 50 cycle hum that changes it's sound with the tone control settings. The volume controls do not change the volume of the hum except if i turn one of them to 10. From 1 to 9 its there, at 10 it's gone and from 11 to 12 it's there again ... I have to recheck the wiring. Otherwise it sounds great and a lot nicer than before with al those dubious mods it had.

Also check out the filament balancing resistors.
