This isn't exactly inside an amp, but the thread reminded me of it. I originally got this in a box of Rane manuals that was mailed to me when I was a Rane dealer. My first thought was, "I didn't know they made an exciter?". Then, I read the thing.

I can't find any pictures, but I recall Digitech used to have some pretty funny stuff written on their product boxes, too. It would say (something like) Do not fold, spindle, or mutilate,...... saute, fry, melt, etc."I took a photo of my ohm meter... It didn't help." Enzo 8/20/22

"I happen to have an original 1955 Stratocaster! The neck and body have been replaced with top quality Warmoth parts, I upgraded the hardware and put in custom, hand wound pickups. It's fabulous. There's nothing like that vintage tone or owning an original." - Chuck H

Well, I first got the Rane cut sheet in the late 80's-early 90's. I'm not sure when that Aiken piece was built. Probably not relevant anyway since the Rane thing is a farce."I took a photo of my ohm meter... It didn't help." Enzo 8/20/22

I know that Aiken did the Power/Glory thing for Power/Standby switches as far back as the Invader amps. I always thought it was funny."Stand back, I'm holding a calculator." - chinrest
