The tech department at hammond said the 1750p ot is for the jcm 900 but would work for the jcm 2000 50w. Any advice?

Marshall used their TXOP-00002 in both those amps, so yes it will work.
The classictone replacement is also spec'd for both those models:

It's got a 3k4 primary and 2/4/8/16 secondaries and is rated for 50W. All those numbers look dead-on for that application.

Aren't they labeled ? , according to the jcm2000/dsl50 schematic W3 & W4 go to the power tube plates & W5 is the center tap"UP here in the Canada we shoot things we don't understand"Comment
