  • Hammond 1750p for jcm 2000 50w

The tech department at hammond said the 1750p ot is for the jcm 900 but would work for the jcm 2000 50w. Any advice?

Marshall used their TXOP-00002 in both those amps, so yes it will work.
The classictone replacement is also spec'd for both those models:
    50W / 60W Marshall JCM900 & JCM2000 Style Upgrade / General Replacement Output Transformer, 4/8/16 Ohms, 784-348

        Looking at the spec sheet

        https://www.hammfg.com/files/parts/pdf/1750P.pdf

It's got a 3k4 primary and 2/4/8/16 secondaries and is rated for 50W. All those numbers look dead-on for that application.

that multi-tap secondary is a nice feature. you don't see many that have both 2R and 16R taps. it would make a good "universal" OT.

Aren't they labeled ? , according to the jcm2000/dsl50 schematic W3 & W4 go to the power tube plates & W5 is the center tap
