    Oh boy, I think it is, thank you very much! I'll take a look in the morning just to be sure. I took U402 (2068) off the board earlier today and scoped the incoming signal on the pads, they looked fine without the chip in place, I've ordered new ones and will replace that one to start with.

    (Edit: I previously thought U402 was U102, the silk screen has a little missing)

      I couldn't get the original package type for those 2068's, not new at a reasonable price anyway. The current new DMP8 package type fits in its place quite neatly, it's a little wider, the legs are correct. Changing that OPAMP did the trick, the signal going to the left/right bus is as clean as a whistle and power amp output is load and clear.

      So that was one voltage regulator, one diode and an opamp to get it back in action
