    I am getting a crash from the tank. I will check the input signal at the tank with an o-scope and get back to you with the results, also will spray a little contact cleaner (deoxit) in the rca jacks.

      Update, reverb back

      I used some deoxit on the connectors, then i put the scope on the reverb input and was getting signal at the input. You had mentioned the Q2 transistor (switch), I had an extra one sitting around so I just replaced it and the Reverb is back. Thanks again for all your input on helping to narrow down the issues.

        wow. never saw that speaker jack thing coming. i had just fixed a deville (broken solder joints on filter caps) and buttoned it back up just to have the preamp out work great but the power amp section give me very low and distorted volume. i had plugged the internal speaker into the output jack nearest the x-former when i put it back together. Set me back about a week until i read this thread. thanks....
