Use an oscilloscope to check the signal at the TDA7293 input.

I'm assuming oscope with a signal thru input?

Feed the high-frequency signal from the generator (3 kHz) to the input of the speaker system and use an oscilloscope to look at this signal on pin 3 of the TDA7293 chip or on pin 1 of the U401-A chip.

Not sure what acoustic input would be, so here's how I have it setup: signal generator @ 3000hz-.30v sine is plugged into input of 515xt. Oscilloscope probe is on pin #3 of tda7293. How does this differ from what you are showing? What reading are you expecting at pin #3 on oscilloscope?

30 V from an alternator is a lot. 1 V is enough there.
                    Or you have 300mV??

almost the same signal voltage should be on pin 3, and the same frequency

If this is not observed on pin 3, you should look at pin 1 of U401-A

Ch 1 oscilloscope probe was reading (3.9v vpp).

                                of the same frequency?
And what is the output of the TDA7293?
