Is the waveform at pin14 with the tweeter connected? What frequency?
If it's 3Khz with the tweeter connected, you should be hearing that.Originally posted by EnzoI have a sign in my shop that says, "Never think up reasons not to check something."

I'll add and FYI: The crossover point in that speaker is 4Khz, so there will likely be a slight amount of 3Khz getting through, but frankly I'd be using a test tone over 4k in order to properly see it on the high frequency output amp.Last edited by The Dude; 01-17-2023, 02:44 AM."I took a photo of my ohm meter... See if the signal drops out at pin 14 when the tweeter is connected (and that it is still there at pin 3).Originally posted by EnzoI have a sign in my shop that says, "Never think up reasons not to check something."

Looks like the frequency showing on the scope is not the same as what the signal generator is putting out.
Does scope say 91.366 Hz, or 91366 khz ?
Scope the signal coming out of your source, get it set up to show a proper sinewave. Then scope the other points with the same time base settings.Originally posted by EnzoI have a sign in my shop that says, "Never think up reasons not to check something."
