Sprayed all pots, jacks with contact cleaner, no change. Noticing that mp3 volume increase/decrease does almost nothing to the output of the amp. Nothing on visual appears wrong.

Check supply voltages. Should be around +/-15V at IC's on preamp board; and +/- some higher voltage at the power transistors, probably in the 35 to 80V range.Originally posted by EnzoI have a sign in my shop that says, "Never think up reasons not to check something."

That looks like the standard Eden class B power amplifier. I doubt it is faulty however, they do suffer from poor switch contacts, contact cleaner will cure that and bad connectors on the interconnect leads.
Check the mute command line; Pin 5 of P2. Should be near zero volts or negative to open the Fets and allow signal to pass.
