Hi, I am wanting to use my tube driven reverb loop as a switchable boost by using a rca patch cord fron reverb send to return jacks.
I understand that the driver tube must see a load in absence of the reverb tank. Someone suggested installing an 8 ohm 10 watt resistor b/w the live and ground on the driver side. I assume this means from live to ground of the reverb send jack. Is this correct ?
Will this arraingement allow the circuit to be used as an effects loop as well or allow a patch in point (the return jack) for the signal comming from an attenuated power amp to blend parallel with the first amp. What other precautions should be taken to do such?
