Happy NEW YEARS!!!!!!
a fellow recently give me some stuff that I am trying to sort out one is a power transformer that looks brand new marked 710-4149-01 5246220. it has 1 blk lead 2 red, 2 yellow, 2 grn, 1 yel/blk, 1 red/yel, 1 grn/yel am I missing a blk primary lead?
I would think so too. Do all the leads come out of the same side of the tranny?
You might take off one cap of the transformer (if possible) to look inside if one of the leads has been ripped off.
Could be a 5VAC centre tap, measure resistance to the yellow wires, should be less than one ohm. If it's more, see what you have you have from blk/yel to the other wires...long shot but it's possible that blk/yel could be the other primary?
Is the 1 yel/blk wired together with the black?
Usually the wires to the input go on one side, and the outputs on the other.
The next step is to check the resistance to see if they are paired.
Then use a 10 volt AC wall wart on the primaries and measure the outputs.
