  • New book: Designing Tube Preamps for Guitar and Bass

I hope the forum moderators will forgive me for this shameless advertising, but my new book is now available. See my site for more info:
How to design valve guitar amplifiers

Shameless, just shameless, I tell you...
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

Seriously though, as someone working on his own book, I know that it is a lot of work to put one together, and my hat is off to someone who does it.

          Hi Merlin

Thank you for taking the time to set up your site and write your book.

            Merlin is your real name?
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"

This Merlin guy has stolen all the Valve Wizards stuff!...oh
              I get it!

Look forward to seeing a copy Merlin; I greatly appreciate the clarity of your writing style and your strong knowledge base. Where sold in USA? How many pages? Its not just a compendium of postings and emails like G. Weber's stuff, is it? (kidding)

Congratulations on bringing your creative process to fruition!

I just ordered the book through Lulu, I look forward to reading it.

I would note, on your books web page it links both Lulu and Doberman. The Doberman site still shows the book as backordered. Is that just to reflect the print on demand aspect?

Nah, Chris simply underestimated the initial demand- his stock sold out within hours and he has been trying to fill the rest ever since. Within the next 3 days he should have a good permanent stock and that message will disappear. Hope you like it!
