Hi Everyone
I am in the early stages of an amp build. I am using a Virbolux chassis repro and a vertical mount PT. I lucked out and the vertical PT mounting holes line up exactly with the stock mounting holes. This location puts my PT very close to my power tubes. I'm guessing a standard Vibrolux PT mounted on it's side would still be fairly close.
Do you think I should be concerned or is this distance nothing to worry about?
I have attached a couple of pictures. The pictures show 6L6's. My amp will be setup up to run either 6L6's or 6V6's. It will use a solid state rectifier so the rectifier tube hole will be covered. The main filter caps will be mounted inside.
Thanks in advance everyone.
