While digging through my dads old junk I found a box full of loose compactrons. I got one I can't I.D.
It is a "9AM10" with manufacture codes "73-41", "74-17", and "188-5". It also has U.S.A. marked on the top with some kind of dot code underneath. It is clearly a triple triode with fairly large plates similar to say a 6CG7. Comparing directly with a 6CG7 the filament winding is finer and closer to the cathode so it might have a higher mu. This tube was not listed in my dad's 1967 RCA Tube Manuel and also not listed on the "Electron Tube Data Sheets" site. This last is a first for me. I tried looking under "6AM10", and "12AM10" with no luck. If anyone has any resources with this information I would appreciate. Thanks.
