maybe that 1.5A is correct, look at the DCR for the red-red wind, pretty low,
for CT operation the VA goes down to 165 VAC x 1.5 A = 247.5 since current only flows 50% of the time from either Red to CT, then divide that in half for a reasonable 123 VA. that would mean a thicker than sq stack so i bet it is 1 3/4"
do not try to get 1.5 A in Bridge Rect form or you will have a fire. the Fender can drag 300ma and be at 99 VA, the rest for the heaters, which will probably run .9 x 2 = 1.8 + preamp tubes, .3 x 4 = 1.2 so 3 amps x 6.3 =18.9 so 99 + 19 = 118 VA.
