I'm about ready to drill holes for the eyelets in a piece of G03 (red fiberglass) and was wondering how far apart to place them.
I'm using standard components for a tube guitar amps - carbon comp resistors, Mallory coupling caps, and Illinois electrolytics.
I put together a simple layout using AppleWorks (attached). The circuit is very similar to a Matchless Spitfire - one preamp stage, long-tail-pair, push-pull output tubes.
How does this sound:
3/8" for general spacing, such as resistors
1/2" for larger components like coupling caps and cathode RC's
3/4" for electrolytics
Thanks!!
PS
I've seen Visio library for PC, but is there anything for us Mac people?
