Hey, I got one of these VOX Berkeley Super Reverb amps in earlier this week with lots of issues.
Someone a few years ago must have blown the PT and shoved some off the wall crap in it but they have also hosed up the on-off/standby switch and the two light bulb holders. (Man, I haven't seen so much electrical tape in an amp in years either!)
I got it up and running fine and I rewired the DPDT center off switch so it works right... BUT, they also tossed away the lamps ('cause they didn't know how to make the switch work I assume), and I can't remember what the heck the two #s are of bulbs in series are.
Does anyone remember?... none of my art work has the two bulb numbers (I'm pretty sure they were two separate #s so current would flow in one instead of the other when switched) and of course it won't work with #44, #47s etc etc.
The 6.3v line is center tapped and the bulbs come off one leg so there is only half that going to the pilot lamp sockets.... bummed and it's Friday almost.
Sure like to get this back to the guy for the weekend.
Bruce
