Of course it ended up substantially different from the original, enough for me to realize the translator was not very accurate, and would make communication difficult.
One of the guys on the forum suggested that I post both the translated content (German), as well as my original wording in English. At least that way, if there was confusion, they could run it through several translators to try and get a consensus on the meaning.
Ha ha that's nuts. I don't know how you had the patience, unless, doing it as a joke to wind someone up: now, if this was vkk's intent.. then I take my hat off to him for winding me up an absolute treat (or "stitching me up like a kipper", a simply great english expression- try that in a translator !!).

But as I asked whether he was using such a tool (Ive -never- come across them before vkk's replies you see, so only a vague notion this was any possibility for the broken english) & got no reply, I therefore assumed one wasn't being used & it was just his appalling use of english. Hence my blood boiled.

Once known -via pdf64 I think- that it was indeed likely a translator used, I apologised to vkk/ not his fault.. tho went on (yes pretty firmly) to suggest an alternative whatnot translate thing asap. If only he's just said 'I'm using a translator' I'd have had alot more patience than I did.

Anyway. I've dated my spkr to 1973, but the model no. I'm having trouble with (I think I'm losing patience with celestion too! I mean why tf not just for eg 71273 for 7 dec 73?? why the chart puzzle b*llocks instead??). It looks definitely a 7 last, T12 to begin, but a splodge between. T12 -?- 7. Maybe an 8 or a 6.

But I do not have the model number. All I read is T12 ? 7. (? is either a 6, or an 8: it is not clear to see).

        Thanks anyway. SC

Misunderstanding the translation from the translator is in the logical order of the words.
The logical order of the words that make up a sentence is different in each language.
Not to mention not understanding slang in communication.
          1)
The basic misunderstanding in communication is whether or not the other side wants to understand communication.
