Hi Guys, Well I am new. I actually have a Cambridge Sound Works DTT2500, Had it for a long time and worked great, a little while ago I did a small repair on its power supply brick(had a bad cap on it that caused the SUb not to work so it needed replacing) since then I also noticed that it has had a white noise coming from all speakers, recently after running the speakers for a few hours at normal sound levels or playing rock and roll for 10 mins at high (80%) levels (just to test ) the thing starts making crackling and poping sounds from all speakers. This gets annoying when I watch movies on the PC.
I have since replaced the power supply brick with a laptop brick, running great but the crackling noise comes back after a while. I really want to get rid of this issue. I opened up the amp but found no bad caps in it. Not sure what it could be. All connections are tight, the speakers and everything seem fine, so I think the problem is in the amp. Any one here with good experience with amps that can help me please ?
Oh, and I should add, the amp has digital mute and environment switch, muting it from the amp makes the poping go away.
