Hello. I have an Alesis RA150 amplifier, recently i had problems with the relay and I made a lot of resarch and find out that many people with RA 150, 300 and 500 models have the same problem, and some of the comments I read recommend to replace the stock relay and the stock caps as well, so I ordered from Mouser.com a new relay and a new pair of caps but when the parts arrived I noticed I made a mistake and the caps are different value than the stock ones.
The stock caps are 6800 uf 50v and the ones I ordered are 10,000uf 63v and obviously the new ones look like more quality but I want to know what could happen if I replace the stock caps with this new ones?
Can this harm my amp in any way?
Can it affect the sound for goof or for bad?
Do you recommend leaving the old caps (they work just fine) or replacing them?
By the way, I already replaced the relay and the cutting out problem is solved...
Thank you,
Leo
