Batteries to increase Anode voltage in LoV designs?

Microphonic when used in your project or when used in a regular amp? I have seen 12au7/12at7 variants be microphonic when used in a amp. I haven't swapped out many at low voltage to come to that conclusion. If you were closer I would send some tubes to you.

They were microphonic in regular amps - at high voltage (300V, the preamp i made for my G-2000) as well as at relatively small voltage (120V, V1 position of Echolette M40).

Do You think this will be better at ~20V? Well, easy to try.

But regardless of that i need somewhat more complexity in the circuit because a bass guitar loses its power if its low registers are too much disorted - they should remain pretty clean. And i would like to be able to have some fine control over the amount of distortion.
