You'll have to check to see if it will work. I've almost always been able to put the switch in at an angle and just cut off two pins.

If you get the 4 pin to cut off 2 make sure you have switch oriented correctly before cutting.

You can't do that with this mechanical design. The pins have to be centered so that the panel button is centered on the actuator.

There seems to be a 5mm high one from omron (B3F-6020) . Odd how the filtering took that one out when I was looking for it. The data must be incorrect on mouser's system.

The longer one is also on mouser but the length/width are 5.99mm, which is why the search failed on mouser.

They are more expensive on mouser.com. Perhaps its time for me to try digikey after all these years.

Did you try spraying them first?

My years of experience show that although you might have success spraying these tactile switches, fundamentally, the contacts are worn out and they will fail again shortly.
check Mouser with your measurements, and you'll find what you're looking for. They're super cheap like sometimes less that 0.45 ea. Really not worth wasting time to resurrect them.
Other sources like 'Syntaur' for keyboard, charge a couple of bucks each, which is highway robbery!!
