  • Dynacomp debug: board not working!

I transplanted my 1975 Script MTR Dynacomp into a custom pedal enclosure and added a much needed LED, DC jack & 3PDT. I followed this diagram http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/...tb_battery.gif

Added switchs for input jack (Yellow) to the board input (brown) & output jack (blue) to to board output (mid-pot). I think I have the switching correct.

Here's the problem. The bypass works fine. When I switch the effect on, the LED lights up BUT NO SIGNAL. I'm thinking the board is not getting juice.

How and where can I check so see if the board is getting power?

Here a link to schematics and the dynacomp board pics someone else posted. It's identical to mine. http://music-electronics-forum.com/t10108/

Just found this, which might be useful...http://ustomp.com/files/dynacompthumb.gif

    Thanks.

I've got a gig on Saturday and I need this thing working

That ggg link was incorrect. Here's the one with the battery & DC jack
    http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/..._ig_dcjack.gif

Both a battery & DC power will turn on the LED, but no signal. Bypass works just fine.

I resoldered the + on the dc jack with the + of the battery now it works, BUT the dc only works when the battery is in. Weird!! The dc - goes to ground and the battery - goes to the input 3 lug (per-normal)

      Anyone???
