So I'm at the beginning stages of a simple idea, similar to the VOX Repeat Percussion. Basically it just turns your signal on and off with variable speed control.
I decided to use an analog switch IC ( Vishay DG201B) to control the switching. It basically has a signal input, a signal output and a square wave input to turn the switch on and off (just using my function generator on my trainer). Pretty simple.
The problem is that every time the "switch" turns on, it gives a nice pop. I've tried the tricks that you would do to get rid of pops from mechanical switche and nothing works.
I'm sure someone here has played around with this idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or if there is a better way?
Thanks
Aaron
