    As far as I can tell from the pictures your solder joints don't look perfect. Do your hear any noises if you pound on the unit?

    You might have an intermittent connection.

      Those connections are tight. I dont hear any noise when pounding the unit. I had a couple of Electroharmonix effects in the past that also amplified the mechanical click in the past. THere must be a solution to this.

        Is it ACTUALLY amplifying the mechanical action? Or is it really that WHEN you click the button a pop or crack sound occurs in the signal? Those are VERY different things.
        Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

          Can you make a recording of the noise so we can hear what you do?

          Also, where do you have this in the signal path? If on the amp input, are the controls at about the same settings as when you don't use this?

          Experience is something you get, just after you really needed it.
