Thank you, I hadn't even thought of that.
As I said before I am a total beginner in this field and therefore this is the first time I measure the voltage of an AC power supply.
I asked chatgpt for the procedure as I don't know how to use a multimeter very well.
I plugged it into a 220V wall socket and measured the other side which normally plugs into the GNX4 using the multimeter in the V~ position and the result was 9.9V
Should I conclude that the AC power supply is working properly?
In any case, even if I can't repair my GNX4, I don't regret having tried since I learned things. And even if it's rudimentary things in electronics I'm happy because I like learning things. And I would love to understand electronics better because I find it very interesting.
I thank you for your help and I am well aware of the limitations of chatgpt even if I also find it interesting and that we can also learn things thanks to chatgpt.
And I also think that it's important to make mistakes in the learning process and so I'm happy to learn from my mistakes and also from those of chatGPTLast edited by krafty cat; 08-05-2024, 06:21 PM.
