1980s EHX Stereo Memory Man - Remove internal power transformer

    Success everyone!

    I had ordered the recommended power converter and a second one with wider input voltage range, which I ended up using. I installed it at the points recommended by dmeek, and used the fairly rudimentary power filtering circuit recommended in the data sheet for the part (but using 220uf and 33uf capacitors).

    Happy to report that this solution works perfectly, with very little noise despite this being an analog delay circuit!

        Hi, I only have basic abilities with electronics...really just soldering where someone tells me to. Would it be possible to buy this as a kit from yourself? I'm in the UK. The pedal I have is a US Memory Man Stereo pedal with the XA0020 transformer.
