Embedded Videos Won't Play

    OK, I just found an embedded video on Seymour Duncan's forum, which is running the same version of vB5 as we are. It played, so it seems we still have a mystery to solve.

        Oh hell. Seymour Duncan was one of the sites I checked. I should have posted that one when you asked. Didn't think to look at vB version.

            All that those do for me is send me to the youtube page. Same as right clicking on the one that doesn't work and clicking 'open in new tab'.

              Could it have anything to do with the http vs https issue? When you add media, the example given show this: 'Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1234567'
              But the actual youtube addresses are now https

                I just edited Bigtees link to change it to https instead of http, no change.

                      As a matter of coincidence, vBulletin released a security patch today. Installing the patch and running the upgrade script seems to have cleared up our video problem.
