Just reading around on the gear page and found a "new" pickup by Motor City called the BlisterBucker,.

I hate to tell him this, but I've been using that name since 2005 for the only ceramic-loaded pickup I offer.

I don't suppose you'd mind renaming that would you? Otherwise, we're going to have another Dr. Vintage-like suit on our hands. Let's try not to step on any toes, and do our research to make sure nobody else is already using a name.

Maybe the 'Blissterbucker' was name simply thrown out for
the benefit of the customer.

He addes that the pup is sold as the "Angel Dust" super vintage humbucker
on the web site.

Makes you want to make up as many silly pickup names as possible.

Neither do I, but I've seen several references to it on the Gear Page and Google now. Since it's "new" maybe Wade has delayed in putting it on his site or something.

Either way, after having gone through the whole Dr. Vintage lawsuit custom a cool $20k, I'm highly irritated by this. All Wade would have had to do is Google "Blisterbucker" or do a search for it on the Gear Page, Ceramic Lounge, or Axehouse forums to see that I'm already using it, and have been for at least four years now.

Yes. And while the "line" is open to interpretation, similar sounding names are usually refused because of the likelihood of confusion.
