I really didn't want to come off as petty about this but I take it personal when someone downs someone from this forum for their own gain. This is a close knit forum here and when someone runs off their trap about someone here I get a little irritated that's all.

Just one thing more; thanks for bringing this to our attention Ben. There's a lot of forums out there most of which I never get time to read. It's always good to have someone looking out for you.

These things happen regularly on internet forums.. We see somebody mention our guitars on a thread, and a few builders pile on, boasting about their own products. Best to ignore it, as if the potential buyer is dumb enough to not see what's going down- I don't want to deal with them anyway... It's kind of like the competition help weed out potentially problematic customers.

I think there is a google search technique where you can tell google to go search mentions of your name or product etc. everyday, if you're real paranoid about whats being said about your work. I think its kind of pointless to worry about this stuff, unless you are in the habit of clashing with your customers, that WILL get out there and spread in a bad way. I treat every customer like gold as much as I can, I definitely make mistakes sometimes and usually eat it and apologize profusely when I goof. Being a one man business is crazy sometimes....
