  • paf baseplate with 50 mm spacing

    so guys is it possible to buy baseplate like this but with 50 mm spacing and only on 1 side holes for screw poles?

    I had good results by drilling the 49,2 mm baseplate.

      Is .08mm really going to make a difference? That's only .04mm on eeach side.

        That looks like a Stewmac baseplate which I'm fairly certain is 50mm. If it's not a perfect fit, just ream the holes out slightly wider. As Dave says, 0.4mm on each side isn't that much on a baseplate.

        It's much more an issue with covers because for aesthetic reasons you can't do any reaming but a slight widening of baseplate holes to accommodate 49.2mm and 50mm parts is no problem.

              Thanx guys, i was thinking to buy guitar jones White and aged white bobbins to be closer to paf in color than with cream color.
              he have only 50 mm in that colors.
