Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of restoring a 1963 Burns Black Bison guitar missing the split-sound circuitry and Ultra-Sonic pickups amongst other pieces. I've been able to track down an schematic, also two of the three original circuit transformers and approx. magnet wire specs and d.c. resistance for the p.u's split coils (as far as I know, about 34 to 38 SWG with 12-14 ohm d.c.). Still missing info on the magnet (type, dimensions, placement..) and bobbin construction (already got covers for the philips polepieces style pickup).
I't be so great if anyone can shed some light on this.
Also it would be of great help anyone regarding some knowledge of the low impedance Burns split-sound circuitry.
Thanks!
