  • CNC Winder Controller Board group Buy

At the request of Elepro I'm starting this thread and coordinating this group buy.

He has 5 assembled and tested controller boards at 120 euros ($162.84 USD as of this post) each. These are not kits. You can read about the board in the other threads.

I will be taking the orders and shipping them out. The shipping is extra, but shouldn't be more than $7-10 for domestic USPS Priority mail. If you are overseas it might make more sense for Elepro to ship them. I'll be taking payments through PayPal.

I'm still working out some details, but that's it in a nut shell.

You can PM me if you are interested.

It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

The other electronics parts you'll need add up to about $22 from Mouser.
Not worth a group buy for that i think.

Oh wait! Elepro has included all the other components and assembled the boards? That's great.

          Hi Elepro

Can you tell what changes have been made in the 1.1 version of the controller and would it be possible to upgrade the version 1 that I have from you ?

          Cheers

          Andrew

I've moved this back over to the pickup makers forum just incase people haven't looked in tools and winders lately.

I'll try to make some progress on my winder and post photos later this week. Hopefully that will inspire.

It's really about time we have a buy-n-sell subforum, any chance you can shmooze the powers that be (tboy?) onto a dedicated "Winders Market" (like a Farmers market for winders) sub-forum inside this pickup makers forum?

                          That's not a bad idea.

                          We do have this though.

                          Flea Market

But one just for pickup makers would be cool.

Yes, I mean one specifically inside this subforum, much like the way the showcase was added some time ago.

You might get more eyeballs by having a thread stickied to the top of this forum for a while instead.
