Q for the PAF pros

    I sent a PAF baseplate to a stamper. They drew it up from that and ran a test part. They came out great. I did have to track down a source for nickel silver for them. Mine have identical spacing to a PAF baseplates and the pole screw holes are just the right size to allow the pole screws to self thread.
    They don't make them like they used to... We do.

      of course that was why i had to do mine too, but do you have to fold them or do they do it for you in one pass on your tool?

        I'm pretty sure it goes through 4 stages. Blanking, then two folding stages then threading of the adjustment screw holes.

          I'm not really going for a bang on PAF thing. Several of you have it covered, and I just don't have a desire for it. I just want the best tone I can consistently achieve. Thanks again for great discussion
