There are a couple of ABS enclosures that might work. The dims on Mouser don't specify inside or outside so that's a bit frustrating. There are a few that are close but 2.9" instead of 3" so we may have to resorts to belt-sanding off some width from the PCB. Let's not forget we need to drop a 9V in there as well. I like things to be compact as possible so I'm going to let someone else take over suggesting a box that's sure to fit. Radio shack might just be the best bet for most of us.

I'll probably just rout mine out a block of wood, it goes very quickly on the milling machine.

The case I used for the last one should work. It's 3.25 X 5.62 AND has a 9v battery compartment with snap off door.

I don't recall the inside dimensions, but here's the specs for the box.
