      I'm 61, and as far as I know it's always been Scotch Magic tale in the green plad tape dispenser. The old yellowy shiney tape before the magic is just old Celophane tape.
      I'm sure there's generics now but there used to only be the Scotch magic tape, that was the matt finish.

        Iv'e bought a couple of sets from Stewmac and from Allparts before just to compare with my own and vintage stuff. .187 holes in the top plates and 5mm holes in the bottom plates. Waste of space really. Just got to be lucky I guess or stick to maching your own. See you there Bill and leaving wednesday.

          Hi Dave, I always called it scotch tape. Never paid attention to the magic part lol. Am I that dense lol...
